After opening gifts from Santa on Christmas morning, we headed out to celebrate Christmas with Ashley's family at Momma G & Papa's house! We ate a delicious meal of ham/brisket, veggie dishes, desserts, etc!
A little later in the afternoon we went on a hayride and sang Christmas carols! Yes, it was 30* and yes we were freezing! Papa G drove a million miles an hour over snow and pot holes, all the while sitting in his warm truck drinking his hot coffee. HA! We had so much fun and laughed the entire time! :)

That night, we watched the movie "Facing The Giants." It was a good movie with a wonderful message! Kaelyn and Shae fell asleep during the movie, they were worn out!
The next morning, Papa G & Momma G made us a delicious breakfast of fried eggs, bacon and biscuits! We spent the morning relaxing and moving slow.
They set up the new street sign, it looks great!

He put on quite the show & everyone had fun singing along.

Uncle Charles is a kid-magnet to say the least. All of the kids absolutely love him b/c he's a big kid himself and loves to play games with them! Here they are all attacking him with pillows & animals! Poor Charles! ha!
Shae loving on my parents dog, Haley. This is a HUGE step for my dog-fearing girls!

After the guitar show, Papa G brought back some fried chicken for lunch. It was delicious and perfect for a cold, winter day!

Way to go, Shae!

Kaelyn taking it a little slower :)

Papa G & Kaelyn

We had planned on all going to see a movie, but figured the crowds would be too bad. We let the boys sneak off to go see the new movie "Sherlock Holmes" and we stayed at the house and had lots of fun. They said it was packed so we were glad we did :)

We made Snowmen crafts out of marshmallows! The kids loved making them and eating them too!

Later that evening, we bathed the girls and got them in their pj's so we could put them straight to bed when we got home. We were about 5 minutes down the road, and they were already fast asleep!!

What a wonderful Christmas holiday spent with both of our families! We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people! :)
