Happy 4th Birthday to our Princesses!!

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY, SHAE and KAELYN!!

We celebrated Shae and Kaelyn's 4th birthday this past Saturday! Of course they chose to have a Princess themed party and loved every minute of it!

We had a small birthday party @ Going Bonkers and all of the kids had a blast! All of us parents were "going bonkers" when it was all said and done but loved watching the kids run around crazy and have so much fun! The kids got an hour to play and then we had the party room. Then they headed back out to play some more & use their tokens for the games!

Swim Lessons!

Last week, the girls took swim lessons at Ms. Melanie's house for 30 minutes each day, Monday through Friday. The first couple of days, they were a little hesitant to walk in but would always be happy when I picked them up after the lesson.
I was a little nervous to go with them on Friday for "show off" day, where they showed us everything they had learned that week. I was pleasantly surprised & the girls did GREAT!! All of the kids did wonderful and listened to Ms. Melanie and followed directions. All of the parents were very impressed with what our kids had learned in just 5 days!
Ready for "show off"' day!!

All of the kids sat on their ''diamonds" (diamond tiles in the pool) and listened carefully to the directions given by Ms. Melanie.

First, they did "submarines" out to Ms. Madeline (straight arms and kicked off from step)
Kaelyn:

Next was time for them to jump in, and then swim to the side of the pool.
Shae:

Now it's time for them to jump in and swim all the way across to the OTHER SIDE of the pool!

We are so proud of our little swimmers!! At the end, Ms. Melanie gave them all a popsicle and told them what a great job they did!! Way to go girls!! :)

Thankful!

We are so very thankful that God had His faithful hand of protection on my mom this week. On Monday, she was in a very serious car accident. By God's hand alone, she was protected, as well as the others involved in the accident.
She is now home from the hospital, very sore and bruised, but getting better day by day.
Take time to count your blessings everyday!!

Ryan's 30th/Father's Day Weekend!!

The month of June is always one crazy, busy month! This weekend was Ryan's 30th birthday, as well as Father's Day Weekend! It started on Thursday night, when some of Ryan's family was in town and we went to dinner with everyone at Spring Creek BBQ. Mimi brought cupcakes to celebrate Ryan's birthday and we all enjoyed visiting with family who had been missionaries in Thailand for over 3 years. On Friday night, we met up with more family for another birthday celebration at Uncle Julio's. Momma G brought a delicious cake & we had a lot of fun celebrating the "Old Man!" ha! :)

HAPPY 30th Ryan!!

Saturday, was Ryan's actual 30th birthday! We spent the day as a family, went to the mall for some shopping and ate lunch there.

That evening, Michelle and I gave Charles and Ryan ringside tickets to some MMA fights in Frisco for their Father's Day gift. They had burgers for dinner and then headed to the fights. They had a great night & said the fights were so much better LIVE and on the 1st row!

MIchelle and I took the kids out to dinner @ McAllister's Deli and then to Going Bonkers to play! We had so much fun spending the evening with them!!

Summer fun!

Summer is off to a great start! We have been having fun going on playdates, swimming at the pool, playing outside and enjoying our time!
Last weekend, Ryan and I enjoyed a date night out to PF Chang's and to see the musical WICKED. It was wonderful & we really enjoyed the night out with friends. The girls spent the evening hanging out with Momma G & Papa G & even got to have a slumber party at their house.

This past weekend, we had a garage sale and the girls had to stay inside most of the day by themselves. We rewarded them Saturday evening with dinner at Babe's Chicken & Dippin' Dots for dessert!! :)
