The girls were so excited to wake up & learn that Santa had come to visit them! I love these pictures of the girls, bed-head and all, playing with their new toys!

Shae & Kaelyn LOVE their new princess tent! And it's big enough for both of them to enjoy at the same time!

This weekend, we made a trip to Lowe's and the girls loved riding in their very own race car! What fun!

After we got home, we let the girls try out their new bikes!
It was cold outside, so we test-drove them in the garage :)

Arrington Family Christmas '08

We spent Christmas Eve at Ryan's parents house and had a wonderful time. Shae & Kaelyn are the only grandkids on his side so far so they got lots of special attention!

George Family Christmas '08

We celebrated Christmas with the George Family (Ashley's) the weekend before Christmas on December 19-20th. It was so much fun having Christmas at Mama G & Papa G's new house. There was so much room for everyone & we had a blast!

Merry Christmas From The Arrington's!

We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your family and loved ones. We are starting our Christmas celebrations tomorrow with my family and will be with Ryan's family next week for Christmas Eve/Day.
The girls are very excited about Christmas this year so it's going to be a lot of fun! Even though it's fun for them to enjoy the gifts/Santa, etc, we pray that they will always remember that the true meaning of Christmas is Jesus' birthday! They have been taking turns playing Mary & Joseph and taking care of their baby Jesus :)
Merry Christmas & Happy Birthday Jesus!

Talkative Two's: 30 Months

KAELYN:
"Good job, Shae!!"
"Look what I found!"
"Wanna play a game?"
"I'm so TIIII-RED!"
"I'm busy real quick"
"What, Sweetie??"
"Come go on a hayride!"
"I like Santa, I'm very brave"
"You're my best friend, Mommy!"
"Go away birdy, go potty in the clouds!
Go poopoo in the sky, don't drop it on me!"

SHAE:
"Baby's sick, she has a fever"
"I can't see you ANYWHERE!"
"I want my hair in a pony, not a big one, just a little one"
"See my boo-boo right here on my ankle"
"Fix my sock, it's messy"
"Walk very slowly, Kaelyn"
"Let's say our prayers, Kaelyn...make Mommy better, Amen"
"It's my turn to be on Mommy's side, next time it's Kaelyn's turn"

*Oh my goodness, these girls crack us up! What will they say next??

Creative Minds!

The girls are getting so creative & using their imaginations a lot now! It is so fun to watch!
I have been sick the last few days with tonsillitis (yuck!) so we have spent a lot of time in the house and in our pj's. The girls have done well & have been playing a lot of pretend.
They love "camping out" and bringing all of their blankets, pillows, and babies into the front hallway.

They rearranged all of the kitchen chairs and said they were riding in an airplane. They pointed out where all of their cousins should sit as well :)

The girls still aren't huge Santa Clause fans, but they did love it when he waved at them at the mall last week. Kaelyn says she wants to go visit again, but Shae settled for her own picture with Santa.
