Thankful...

We are thankful to see this smile again!

We are happy to report that our sweet Kaelyn has been fever-free for over 48 hours now, praise God! We still do not know to this day what the infection was that caused the spike in fever. They ran every test imaginable and ruled out Pneumonia, Meningitis, Ear infection, etc. The preliminary results from her Urine sample and Blood work were normal, but they are still waiting to see if any bacteria grows within the next 5 days.

From what we were told, the febrile seizures are not as uncommon as you would think in children under the age of 2. They said that a lot of kids will have them once and then it never happen again; which of course is what we are praying for.

Thank you for the continued prayers for her. We are going to take it easy the next couple of weeks and keep a close eye on her. We are truly thankful that God is in control & we have our prayer warriors lifting Kaelyn up.
