Ice, Snow & Home-Bound!

What a crazy week we had last week! Last Tuesday, we had a major ice storm come through Dallas. School was cancelled and roads were so dangerous to drive on. Ryan tried to make it to work on Tuesday am, but had to turn around because the roads were so bad. School/Church activities were cancelled on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so we were home-bound! On Friday am, we woke up to 6" of SNOW!!!!

The weathermen said that the snow actually provided much more tracking on the roads to cover the ice. We ventured out to get some groceries and get a couple of movies at Blockbuster. We felt safe in Ryan's big truck, but we did see some crazy things on the roads!

We had been STUCK at home since Monday night!!

This weekend, Von Miller was signing autographs at the sports memorabilia store in the mall. Miller was a Texas A&M linebacker & Butkus award winner this year.
