Weekend in Aggieland!

We headed down to Aggieland a couple of weeks ago for the big A&M vs. Nebraska game! We made it there in time to attend the Spirit Walk before the game, where the team players are escorted in by the Aggie band and walk by to slap hands. So much fun!
The kids had fun too and got to slap most of the players hands! Then we headed to a tailgate to eat icecream and snacks!

Kyle Field - record crowd of 90,000+

Before the game, Coach Emory Bellard was the honorary captain. He was a great coach at Texas A&M, as well as Westfield High School, when my dad was Athetic Director of Spring ISD. He is now suffering from Lou Gehrig's Disease.

We had such a great time at the game! Kyle Field was ELECTRIC and something we will never forget! It was fun to be a part of the 12th man!

On Sunday, we went to Central Baptist, where George leads the College Ministry. We went to Freedom (College Ministry) and then to the church service.
We enjoyed a delicious roast for lunch & then headed to the park for some afternoon fun! That evening, we ate dinner at Cheddar's!

What a fun weekend we had in College Station with friends! Thanks to George and Lindsay for being wonderful hosts!! Can't wait to visit again! :)
