Yesterday evening Daddy had to go to a rehearsal & dinner for a wedding he is in tonight. The girls and I wanted to do something fun so we called up Melissa & Brynne to join us for a picnic & playtime at our city "beach."
Our city is right by the lake and they just put in this nice sand area to make it like the beach. It's so fun & we are looking forward to spending many days there this summer!!
Kaelyn loved the sand from the minute she got there! She had a blast!
Shae was very timid of the sand at first (notice her holding her feet up), but she quickly warmed up to it & had a blast! She was covered in it by the time we left!
Can't wait until next time! It was the perfect activity to do! The girls didn't make one noise when we put them to bed - that's the sign of a great day! :)
