11 Months Old!!

...and what an exciting & fun-filled 11 months it has been! Kaelyn & Shae are definitely becoming toddlers! Kaelyn is crawling like a pro now & LOVES being able to get into things like Shae has been doing for quite a while. She is working on pulling up now. Shae is practically walking & has taken several steps on her own. She is fearless & scares us to death sometimes when she just takes off! Can't imagine what it will be like when both start walking everywhere!!

The girls are eating all table foods now & LOVING it! They have great appetites & we can't believe how full their bellies get after a meal--WOW! They are doing great at taking their straw sippy cups, so hopefully the transition from the bottle won't be that bad. Hopefully they will welcome the new taste of whole milk just as smoothly :)

Hard to believe in just one month, our precious little girls will be 1 year old! Can't wait to see what year 2 has in store for Kaelyn & Shae!

Watching Daddy

This weekend, Kaelyn & Shae loved watching Daddy mow the back yard! They watched him the entire time & never left the back screen door! They got so excited when Daddy would walk by & wave at them!

 

First Mother's Day!

We had a wonderful weekend spent with friends & family. On Friday, we watched Ryan's brother, Kyle, graduate from Texas A&M University! WHOOP! We are so proud of him & his accomplishments! Mama G watched the girls while we attended the graduation & we are so thankful she did. I don't believe the girls would have made it through a 3-hour graduation ceremony.

Mommy's dear friend & college roommate, Robin, came over to visit on Saturday! It was great to see her & Kaelyn & Shae loved the special attention! Come visit again soon Robin!

We spent the rest of the weekend in Spring with Mama G & Papa G. We had a great time & enjoyed a nice steak dinner on Saturday night at Salt Grass. I must take a minute to brag on my thoughtful & caring husband. He surprised me with a 1-hour massage & some Bath & Body Works goodies for Mother's Day! Just what every mother needs, he's the best! I am so thankful to be a mommy to my precious girls, what joy & happiness they bring to my life!

Our girls are definitely full of smiles & laughs throughout the day! They are such happy girls & keep Mommy & Daddy entertained every minute! Shae is all over the place exploring new things & Kaelyn has started crawling & is loving being mobile! I think Shae is enjoying Kaelyn more now since she is able to follow her around & play with her!

Books before bedtime...

The girls love to read books, especially ones about animals! After our bath, we get our pajamas on & read our books before bedtime. Here are Kaelyn & Shae in their cute Aggie pajamas reading their favorite books!

10 Months Old!

Our little girls turned 10 months old on April 28th. They are starting to seem so grown up now & continue to discover new things everyday keeping us on our toes! Shae is cruising around the furniture like a pro and walks very fast when one of us holds just one of her hands. She'll be independent in no time. Kaelyn has decided that she is now interested in crawling & has almost got it down. She is definitely mobile & gets to whatever she sets those blue eyes on.

The girls LOVE looking out the front screen door! We talk about the trees, grass, and sing songs. This has become an everyday occurence and something both Kaelyn & Shae enjoy.

Weekend Fun!

We had a wonderful weekend full of family fun! Daddy is travleing to San Antonio during the week right now, but he definitely makes up for his time away on the weekends! Shae & Kaelyn are definitely Daddy's little girls & miss him a ton while he is away! They were so happy to see him when he got home & wouldn't leave his side the entire weekend. We went out to lunch at Mi Cocina on Saturday & spent wonderful quality time as a family.

Wendy's Wedding!

Last weekend, I was honored to be a bridesmaid in my best friend, Wendy's, wedding. We had so much fun at the Rehearsal Dinner and the wedding was beautiful!

They got married in Waco so me, Ryan, the girls and my parents headed that way and stayed at the same hotel. Mom & Dad were so nice to watch the girls for us while we attended the Rehearsal Dinner and helped Ryan on the day of the wedding.

Last Wednesday, we had a fun play date with our great friend Melissa & her precious little girl Brynne. Kaelyn & Shae loved having them over & entertained like great hostesses! :) Brynne loved playing in the exersaucer & sitting in the bumbo seat while watching a Baby Einstein movie. Can't wait to do it again! The girls are going to have a blast growing up together! Here are a few cute pics of the girls having fun!

Our girls are growing up so fast & seem to be on the go more than ever! They are little troopers during the day, but when it comes to the end of the day...they are worn out! They are turning into such little girls now, but it's moments like these that remind us they are still precious little babies...
