Easter Sunday!

"It is true, the Lord is RISEN!"

What a wonderful holiday to celebrate and remember that Jesus is no longer in the grave, but he is ALIVE and living in our hearts today! Thank you, Jesus, for dying for our sins!!

We had a wonderful Easter service at Prestonwood. Mimi and Papi came to our church for the service, and we also met up with Uncle Kyle & Aunt Paige for some pictures before.

After the service, we went back to Mimi & Papi's house for a delicious lunch! The girls got to open some Easter goodies from Mimi/Papi and Aunt Paige/Unc Kyle.

Easter Saturday

On Easter Saturday, we headed out to Mama G & Papa G's to spend the day with family.

The kids enjoyed the trampoline, an easter egg hunt, playing & eating candy!

Michelle is now 32 weeks pregnant with my sweet nieces! She is on bedrest so enjoyed the extra company!

While the kids were jumping on the trampoline, Ryan and Charles ran around back to tell them that they think they saw the Easter Bunny. All of the kids hurried to put on their shoes & run around front. Here they are hiding behind the car to try to spy on him!

The boys enjoyed some great fishing in the pond & Cannon caught his first big bass!! Way to go, Cannon! We cooked out hamburgers & hotdogs that evening & enjoyed some of Mom's delicious cherry cobbler! What a fun Saturday with family!

Perfect Saturday!

Saturday morning started off great with a big win for the Shooting Stars soccer team! Shae made 4 goals & Kaelyn had 3! Way to go, girls! We are SO proud of them!!

Uncle Kyle & Aunt Paige were so nice to come cheer on the girls at their game. After, we went to lunch at Blue Goose to celebrate the win!

After lunch, we went home to change clothes & then headed out to Mama G & Papa G's for the day. Ryan spent the day fishing with Papa G & Charles. The girls had a blast playing outside driving the car, jumping on the trampoline & enjoying the beautiful day!

Cannon, Shae & Kaelyn spent over 2 hours total jumping on the trampoline. They wore themselves out!

Papa G picked up some fried chicken for dinner to top off a perfect Saturday!

Then home for baths & bed! :)

Choir Concert - "Sing For Spring!"

The girls have been going to children's choir at church every Wednesday night. They have been practicing hard for their "Sing for Spring" choir concert. They were told to wear something with bugs/butterflies on it.

On Sunday evening, they had their concert at the chapel at church. They were SO excited!

Kaelyn and Shae LOVED having both sets of grandparents there to cheer them on. After the concert, we all headed to Black Eyed Pea for a delicious dinner! What a fun night! :)
